I Never Told You (Song)

This song has the chorus done...but I'm not really happy with the between verses. Hope you like it anyway though. At the moment, it's titled "I Never Told You", not exactly breathtakingly original, but it fits.

I said good morning
How are you
"How are you feeling today"
"Good", and we went our ways

What I never told you
I like to hear your voice
To see you smile
And hear you laugh
Would be my first choice
What you see as imperfection
I see needing no correction

(I'm thinking of an additional line at the end of that chorus)

"Hey you,
How was your week"
A little later and you've got to leave
Sorry you didn't want to talk
I'd only wanted to help, if you'd started to weep

(don't really like my lame attempt at rhyming week and weep there)
(haven't decided on whether to use that verse, or maybe this next one)

How was Friday"
There's no need to lie
If you just need to cry

(again, not satisfied with this verse)

So basically I've got a decent chorus, but not really any body. Hope you liked it though :-)

Familiarity Breeds

There's one fact swirling along the periphery of my brain today. The close proximity and familiarity by repetition of co-workers resulting in care for people I don't care for. There's only so many people that one can emotionally connect and intentionally build relationships with, and the cold fact is that time has a lot to do with friendship, because time is valuable. The Fruit Of The Spirit

This passage has always encouraged me. I hope you find some encouragement and peace from it. Galatians 5:22-26 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other." Against such things there is no law. Really? Think about it. If everyone had these gifts in abundance, we wouldn't hardly need law at all. There definitely isn't any laws against them. Continuing on to the second part, the opposites to these gifts are easily named under "passions and desires". Only with Christ can we put these away and behind us. Still Muddling Through

It's been some time- inside of which I've aged. In ten years- or less- I'll be able to read this bit and chuckle and say, 'I've aged". Yet it really doesn't matter that my immaturity still exists, it's comforting to simply make progress. No one just clicks and becomes perfect and ceases to grow in wisdom for the rest of life. That 'click' point merits its own article. At seven I thought it would be ten, at ten I thought it would be fifteen, at fifteen I thought it would be eventually... but of course with so much wisdom now at least I no longer guess any more ages. Ha. Blogging is a pretty good way to exercise writing, even if it does require consciously telling the grammar police and editing moguls in my head to shut up occasionally. Can't get a straight sentence out otherwise. And I declare- says the least disciplined youngest of five- 'writing shall be in my life, whether I like it or not!' An astounding argument of logic.
